PED-500V (114-582052): Variable Speed; .75 Peak Speed; 4.0 Amps, 540 Watts; Airflow: CFM 70.
QD-1-6FT (114-887030): Single Speed; 1.3 Peak HP Motor; 8.3 Amps; 1,000 Watts; Air Volume
(CFM,FPM): 85/200; Shoulder Strap & Table Mounting Hook. 6’ Hose;
QD- -6FT (114-582618): 1V Variable Speed; 1.3 Peak HP Motor; 8.3 Amps; 1,000 Watts; Air Volume

INSTRUCTIONS: (Instructions are general for all PED Models. Some of the below information may
not pertain to your specific model. Check list above for parts and accessories that go with your particular
machine):
• Insert the grounded Power Supply Cord (D) into a grounded three conductor outlet.
o IMPORTANT: PRODUCT MUST BE GROUNDED.
o WARNING: IMPROPER CONNECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT GROUNDING
CONDUCTOR CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
• Start your Quick Draw by pushing the toggle On/Off Switch UP FOR On and down for Off.
o HOLD THE DRYER BY THE HANDLE
• The QuickDraw machine can be used with or without the 6 ft. Hose. The hose is friction fit at the
end of the protruding steel tube.
• The Air Concentrator and the Air Flare also fit directly at the end of the steel tube to use without the
hose to control the air velocity.
• To use the Shoulder Strap, loop through the Handle, and join the clips together.
• To mount the Quick Draw under a grooming table or on a wall, screw the supplied hook into the
desired location, and hang the dryer Handle over the hook.
• PLEASE NOTE:
o DUE TO THE TREMENDOUS VELOCITY OF AIR PRODUCED BY THE AIR FORCE
QUICK DRAW, YOU MAY EXPERIENCE SOME AIR VENTING BY THE SEAMS, THIS IS
COMPLETELY NORMAL AND HELPS KEEP THE UNIT RUNNING EFFICIENTLY.
o FILTER LIFE IS DEPENDENT ON USAGE. CHECK AND REPLACE WHEN REQUIRED.
o CAUTION: DO NOT DROP THIS APPLIANCE. MOTOR MALFUNCTION CAUSED BY
PRODUCT BEING DROPPED IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

WARRANTY:
This machine carries a One Year Limited* Warranty.
The One Year Warranty includes the unit and the motor.*
There is also a on Parts, Switches, and Cords. One Year Warranty*
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, with the exceptions
stated below:
*MetroVac will repair or replace any defective or malfunctioning part* at no charge. If the machine is not
repairable, it will be replaced.
*Mechanical alterations made to the machine will void the warranty.
*Warranty does not cover carbon brushes, carbon brush wear, filters, or general maintenance.
*The warranty does not cover physical damage made to the machine from tampering with or attempting to
take the appliance apart, improper electrical connections, or water damage.
*Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from our facility.
***Even if the product is beyond the warranty period, we suggest you send the unit back to our
factory for expert repairs and maintenance at reasonable rates. Please click the following link to

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury Do not leave appliance when plugged
in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
Do not allow it to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
Do not use it with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not put any object into the openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair,
and anything that may reduce air flow.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
Do not use without dustbag and/or filters in place.
Turn off controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be
present.
To avoid electric shock, do not use it on wet surfaces, do not expose to rain; store indoors.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
This plug will fit into an outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any
way.
