Additional Specific Safety Rules for Dust Extraction
Systems
Do not use the attachment for drilling applications.
Use only power tools recommended by DEWALT with this attachment. For more information
about DEWALT power tools compatible with this attachment, please contact your local
dealer, call 1-800-4-DEWALT (1-800-433-9258) or visit our website www.dewalt.com.
Do not use the tool in damp or wet conditions.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of lint,

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas
where they may be present.
This appliance collects a significant percentage of, but not all, the dust generated.
WARNING: ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES. Everyday eyeglasses are NOT safety
glasses. Also use face or dust mask if cutting operation is dusty. ALWAYS wear certified safety
equipment:
ANSI Z87.1 eye protection (CAN/CSA Z94.3).
ANSI S12.6 (S3.19) hearing protection.
NIOSH/OSHA respiratory protection.
WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth
defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
lead from lead-based paints,
crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and
arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To
reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved
safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic
particles.
Avoid prolonged contact with dust from power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling,
and other construction activities. Wear protective clothing and wash exposed

appropriate for the dust exposure. Direct particles away from face and body.
WARNING: Before beginning the work, check to determine the hazard classification
of the dust produced. Use an industrial dust extractor vacuum of the appropriate

Porter
SYSTÉMATIQUEMENT un équipement de sécurité homologué:
Protection oculaire ANSI Z87.1 (CAN/CSA Z94.3);
Protection auditive ANSI S12.6 (S3.19;
reproducteur. Parmi ces produits chimiques, on retrouve:
Le plomb dans les peintures à base de plomb;
