Installation place
This路unit路shall路be路installed路in路a路well-ventilated路and路effectively路
heat-released路place路because路this路unit路is路an路A-class路amplifier路
and路generates路considerable路heat.路
Especially,路 installation路 of路 this路 unit路 where路 direct路 sunlight路 is路
present,路where路the路temperature路rises路excessively路high路 such路
as路close路to路a路heater,路or路where路it路is路humid路or路dusty路may路cause路
a路malfunction路even路if路heat路is路efficiently路released.路Therefore,路do路
not路install路this路unit路in路such路places.路
Ventilation holes
The路ventilation路 holes路on路 the路top路 and路bottom路 boards路of路 this路
product路must路not路be路blocked路because路this路unit路is路an路A-class路
amplifier路and路generates路considerable路heat.路If路the路amplifier路is路
installed路on路a路rack路or路the路like,路secure路ample路space路for路cooling路
and路leave路the路door路open.路Do路not路pile路up路other路things路on路the路
amplifier路and路never路put路articles路on路it.路Failure路 to路observe路this路
may路cause路a路malfunction.路
Note:
For路heat路dispersal,路do路not路install路this路equipment路in路a路confined路
space路such路as路a路book路case路or路similar路unit.
Precautions in connecting with other
components
When路 connecting路 this路 unit路 to路 input路 devices路 such路 as路 a路 CD路
player,路an路SACD路player,路a路tuner,路and路a路recorder,路be路sure路to路
turn路off路the路power路of路this路unit路and路all路other路connected路devices.路
Failure路to路observe路this路may路generate路a路strong路noise路resulting路
in路speaker路damage路or路cause路a路malfunction.路
The路pin-plug路to路be路inserted路in路each路input路terminal路of路this路unit路
shall路 be路 pushed路 in路 firmly.路 If路 the路 grounding路 terminal路 is路 inad-
equately路connected,路noises路including路hum路may路be路generated,路
resulting路in路an路adverse路S/N路ratio.路
Cautions in connecting speakers
When路 making路 speaker路 system路 connections,路 exercise路 extra路
care路not路to路short-circuit路between路!路and路@路of路the路speaker路ter-
minals路and路speaker路input路terminals路of路this路unit.路If路a路large路signal路
is路applied路to路the路amplifier路with路its路circuit路left路short-circuited,路a路
large路current路may路be路passed路through路the路output路circuit路 and路
cause路a路malfunction.
The sound is not generated shortly after
the power supply is turned on.
This路amplifier路is路equipped路with路a路time路muting路circuit路in路order路to路
separate路the路output路circuit.路路Therefore,路no路sound路is路generated路
shortly路after路the路power路supply路is路turned路on.路
If路the路volume路control路is路moved路to路a路 high路 sound路level路before路
the路time路muting路circuit路is路canceled,路a路large路sound路is路suddenly路
generated.路Please路be路advised路that路the路volume路control路shall路be路
set路to路a路low路level路at路first路and路adjusted路after路sound路comes路out路
of路the路speakers.路
Protection circuit
This路product路is路equipped路with路a路protection路circuit路that路is路ac-
tivated路upon路detection路 of路overcurrent,路abnormally路 high路tem-
perature,路and路DC路drift路to路protect路the路amplifier路and路speakers.路
When路 the路 protection路 circuit路 is路 activated,路 the路 output路 to路 the路
speaker路terminal路is路shut路off路and路the路standby路indicator路blinks路to路
show路that路this路unit路is路in路the路muting路state.路If路the路protection路cir-
cuit路is路frequently路activated路even路when路disconnecting路the路pow-
er路plug路from路the路 wall路outlet路 and路turning路on路the路power路again路
after路a路lapse路of路a路certain路time,路please路consult路your路dealer.路
Batteries
Caution:
Batteries路used路for路remote路controller路shall路not路be路exposed路to路
excessive路heat路such路as路sunshine,路fire路or路the路like.
Repair and adjustment
When路 repairs路 or路 adjustments路 are路 needed,路 please路 ask路 the路

Cleaning
