TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF

MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (B) ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND ANY LIABILITY NOT BASED UPON CONTRACT ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED;

Pelican will either repair or replace any defective product, at our sole option. Certain products are available for a limited time only. If a claim is made involving one of these products, Pelican reserves the right to replace

a broken or defective product with a standard Pelican product of comparable size and quality if no comparable limited edition product is available at the time of a claim. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS

SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER.

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must complete the warranty claim form at pelican.com/claim. Any warranty claims shall be made by the purchaser as soon as practicable. The purchaser must obtain a return

authorization number from Pelican Customer Service prior to returning any product, and is responsible for paying for all warranty freight costs. If Pelican determines that any returned product is not defective, within the

terms of this warranty, the purchaser shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, return freight and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates.

All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the product has been altered, damaged or in any way physically changed, or subjected to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident.

Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country.

In Australia: The benets provided to you under this warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law as contained in the Competition and Consumer Act

2010 (Cth) (“the Act”). Nothing in this warranty limits the rights or obligations of a party under the Act in relation to the supply to consumers of goods which cannot be limited, modied or excluded. If applicable, our

goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Act. Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Consumers are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If you are not a consumer under the Act, then your

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Battery Replacement

1. Turn the knob counter clockwise to remove the battery cover

2. Insert the batteries with correct polarity as shown on the inside

of the battery cover

3. Replace the battery cover (it will only t one way)

4. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten the battery cover

Charge Time 3 To 4 Hours

TO ENSURE LONG TERM PERFORMANCE CHARGE BATTERY

FOR 24 HOURS OR MORE BEFORE FIRST USE.

1. Push the AC/DC Power Transformer plug into the Charger Socket (the transformer

socket is located in a pocket in the base). Plug transformer into electrical receptacle.

The LED should be SOLID RED.

2. Insert the ashlight into charger base until locked in position. The LED on the charger

base will\pulse RED. Additionally, the three blue charge status indicators on the light

will blink as the light is charging.

3. When the LED on the charger base changes to SOLID GREEN and the status

indicators on the light turn off, the light is fully charged and ready to use.

CAUTION: If light is not to be used for some time, remove batteries to prevent possible

leakage and corrosion.

Charging the alkaline batteries while they are still in the ashlight can cause internal

gas or heat generation resulting in venting, explosion or possibly re which could

cause serious injury or property damage.

»Deep discharge* of the rechargeable battery may cause batteries to vent potentially

dangerous gasses and electrolytes.

»It is advisable to condition* batteries every 3 months. Failure to do so will decrease

battery life. Leaving the product unused for long periods of time will decrease battery

life. Withdrawal of the charger from the product prior to a ‘READY’ indication will

result in inadequate charge.

»WARNING - DO NOT use Ni-MH rechargeable battery packs for longer than 3

years or 500 charge/discharge cycles, whichever comes rst. Using the Ni-MH

rechargeable battery packs for longer than 3 years or 500 charge/discharge cycles

will reduce the performance of the ashlight and expose the user to serious injury or

property damage.

Battery Recycling

ALWAYS dispose of batteries properly at an approved battery recycling center. Failure to

do so can be a crime and can lead to the release of harmful toxic materials. Pelican has

partnered with Call 2 Recycle in the US and Canada to dispose of recyclable batteries.

* Deep Discharge: The battery has been allowed to discharge most of its capacity to a

point beyond which irreparable damage has occurred. See battery specications for the

specic levels.

* Condition a Battery: Charge your battery to the fullest and then disconnect from charger.

Let your light run until it completely drains the battery and turns itself off. Place the

light back onto its charger and completely recharge the battery before using it. This

conditioning or “cycling” of the battery will help it retain a fuller charge for a longer period

of time.

Instalar Y Cambiar Las Pilas O La Batería

1. Girar la manija hacia la izquierda para abrir la tapa de la batería

2. Insertar la batería con la polaridad correcta, tal como se indica en

la parte interna de la tapa

3. Volver a colocar la tapa de la batería (solo puede colocarse de

una manera)

4. Girar la manija hacia la derecha para cerrar la tapa

Tiempo De Carga: De 3 A 4 h.

PARA LOGRAR LA MÁXIMA DURACIÓN, CARGAR LA BATVERÍA

DURANTE 24 HORAS ANTES DE USARLA POR PRIMERA VEZ.

1. Insertar el transformador CA/CC en la toma del cargador (la toma del transformador

se encuentra en un compartimento de la base). Enchufar el transformador. El LED

debe QUEDARSE EN ROJO.

2. Colocar correctamente la linterna en la base del cargador. El LED de la base del

cargador parpadeará en ROJO. Asimismo, los tres indicadores azules del estado de

carga de la linterna parpadearán mientras se esté cargando.

3. Cuando el LED de la base del cargador SE QUEDE EN VERDE y los indicadores

de estado de la linterna se apaguen, la linterna estará totalmente cargada y lista

para usar.

PRECAUCIÓN: Si la linterna no va a utilizarse durante cierto tiempo, retirar las pilas para

evitar posibles fugas y la consiguiente corrosión.

La mayoría de los problemas relacionados con las baterías surgen al utilizarlas

incorrectamente y, sobre todo, al emplear baterías falsicadas o en mal estado.

Consulta la información siguiente para evitar daños personales o en el producto.

Baterías Recargables

»NO mezclar pilas antiguas con pilas nuevas.

»NO mezclar pilas de distinta marca o tipo.

»Cuando se vaya a sustituir las pilas, sustituir todas al mismo tiempo.

»NO abrir las pilas.

»NO tirar las pilas al fuego.

»NO someter las pilas a más de 75 °C.

»NO exponer las pilas al agua.

» Introducir las pilas correctamente siguiendo la polaridad (+ y -) indicada en

la pila y en el equipo.

»NO usar pilas que estén caducadas.

»Los certicados de seguridad en zonas peligrosas para entornos con riesgo de

explosión solo son válidos para las baterías Pelican que se suministran con la

linterna.

»Para cambiar los paquetes de baterías utilizar únicamente las baterías Pelican

homologadas para el modelo de linterna correspondiente. El uso de cualquier otro

tipo de baterías puede afectar al rendimiento de la linterna y exponer al usuario a

lesiones graves, y anula el certicado de seguridad.

»No recargar las baterías en zonas peligrosas.

»Las baterías solo se deben recargar con el cargador Pelican que se suministra con

la linterna.

»Las linternas deben cargarse y utilizarse respetando el rango de temperaturas que

gura a continuación:

»NO cargar las pilas alcalinas recargables mientras estén en la linterna. Cargar las

pilas alcalinas mientras están en la linterna podría generar gas o calor, lo que podría

provocar una fuga, una explosión o incluso un incendio, y causar graves lesiones

personales o daños en el producto.

»Si las baterías recargables se descargan en exceso* pueden originar fugas de gases

y electrolitos peligrosos.

»Se recomienda realizar un mantenimiento* de las pilas cada 3 meses. En caso de

no hacerse, la vida útil de la pila disminuirá. No utilizar el producto durante largos

periodos de tiempo hará que disminuya la vida útil de la batería. Retirar el cargador

del producto antes de que aparezca la indicación ‘LISTO’ resultará en una carga

inadecuada.

»ADVERTENCIA: NO usar baterías recargables de Ni-MH durante más de 3 años o

500 ciclos de carga/descarga, lo que ocurra primero. Usar las baterías recargables

de Ni-MH durante más de 3 años o 500 ciclos de carga/descarga hará que disminuya

el rendimiento de la linterna y podrá exponer al usuario a lesiones graves o producir

daños en el producto.

Reciclaje De Pilas Y Baterías

Al nal de su vida útil, las pilas y las baterías se deben depositar SIEMPRE en un centro

de reciclaje homologado. No hacerlo puede comportar un delito y provocar la liberación

de materiales tóxicos nocivos. Pelican se p2-ha asociado con Call2Recycle en EE. UU. y

Canadá para desechar las pilas y baterías reciclables. Llama al 1-800-822-8837 para

saber cuál es el centro de reciclaje de pilas y baterías más cercano.

* Descarga excesiva: La batería se p2-ha descargado hasta tal punto que se p2-ha producido

un daño irreparable. Consulta las especicaciones de la batería para conocer los

niveles concretos.

* Realizar el mantenimiento de una pila: Carga la batería al máximo y luego desconéctala

del cargador. Deja la linterna encendida hasta que se agote por completo la batería y

se apague sola. Vuelve a colocar la linterna en el cargador y recarga completamente la

batería antes de usarla. Este mantenimiento o “ciclo” de la batería ayudará a mantener

una carga más completa durante un periodo de tiempo más largo.

Niveaux Des Piles

L’indicateur du niveau des piles est situé sur le dessus du modèle 3765

• • 50%-75%

• 25%-50%

Clignotement : moins de 25 %

AVIS: L’indicateur d’état de la batterie est calibré pour les batteries NiMH. Il ne montrera

pas l’état précis de la batterie avec des piles alcalines.

Remplacement Dves Biles

1. Tourner le bouton dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour

retirer le couvercle de la batterie.

2. Insérer la batterie avec la bonne polarité, comme indiqué à l’intérieur

du couvercle.

3. Reposer le couvercle de la batterie (il ne s’emboîte que dans un sens) ;

4. Tourner le bouton dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour serrer

le couvercle de la batterie.

Temps De Chargement 3 À 4 Heures.

POUR GARANTIR DES PERFORMANCES À LONG TERME, RECHARGEZ

LES PILES PENDANT 24 HEURES AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION.

1. Branchez la che du transformateur d’alimentation CA/CC dans la prise du chargeur

(la prise du transformateur est située dans une poche de la base). Puis branchez le

transformateur dans une prise secteur. La LED doit s’allumer en ROUGE FIXE.

2. Insérez la torche dans la base-chargeur jusqu’au verrouillage de sa position. La LED

située sur la base-chargeur clignotera en ROUGE. En outre, les trois indicateurs bleus

d’état de la recharge, situés sur la torche, clignoteront pendant le chargement.

3. Lorsque la couleur de la LED située sur la base-chargeur passera au VERT FIXE et

que les indicateurs d’état de la torche s’éteindront, celle-ci sera entièrement rechargée

et prête à l’emploi.

ATTENTION : Si la torche ne doit pas être utilisée pendant un certain temps, retirer les

piles pour prévenir toute fuite ou corrosion possible.

Piles Rechargeables

»Ne mélangez PAS les piles usagées et les piles neuves.

»Ne mélangez PAS les marques/types de piles.

»Lors du remplacement des piles, remplacez toutes les piles en même temps.

»N’ouvrez PAS les piles.

»Ne les jetez PAS au feu.

»Ne les chauffez PAS à plus de 75 °C.

»N’exposez PAS les piles à l’eau.

»Insérez correctement les piles en respectant la polarité (+ et -) indiquée sur les piles

et l’équipement.

»N’utilisez PAS les piles au-delà de leur date d’expiration.

»Les agréments de sécurité de sites dangereux pour les environnements explosifs

sont valables uniquement pour le bloc-pile Pelican fourni avec la torche.

»Pour remplacer le bloc-pile, utilisez uniquement un bloc-pile Pelican homologué pour

le modèle de torche utilisé. L’utilisation d’autres blocs-piles réduira les performances

de la torche, exposera l’utilisateur ou d’autres personnes à de graves lésions

corporelles et annulera l’agrément de sécurité.

»Les torches doivent être rechargées uniquement dans un endroit non dangereux.

»Les torches doivent être rechargées uniquement à l’aide de la base-chargeur Pelican

fournie avec la torche.

»Les torches ne doivent être rechargées et ne doivent fonctionner que dans les plages

de températures indiquées dans le tableau ci-dessous.

»Ne chargez PAS les piles alcalines rechargeables alors qu’elles se trouvent encore

dans la torche. Sinon, cela peut dégager du gaz ou de la chaleur interne et

provoquer un dégazage, une explosion, voire un incendie pouvant causer de graves

lésions corporelles ou dommages matériels.

»Un déchargement important* des piles rechargeables peut provoquer un dégazage

potentiellement dangereux et une fuite de l’électrolyte.

»Il est conseillé de conditionner* les piles tous les 3 mois. Sinon, la durée de vie des

piles sera réduite. Si vous n’utilisez pas le produit pendant des périodes prolongées,

cela réduira la durée de vie des piles. Le retrait du chargeur du produit avant

l’indication « PRÊT » entraînera une charge inadéquate.

»VERTISSEMENT - N’utilisez PAS de blocs-piles rechargeables Ni-MH pendant

plus de 3 ans ou 500 cycles de charge/décharge, selon la première occurrence.

L’utilisation de blocs-piles rechargeables Ni-MH pendant plus de 3 ans ou 500 cycles

de charge/décharge réduira les performances de la torche et exposera l’utilisateur à

de graves lésions corporelles ou dommages matériels.

Recyclage Des Piles/Batteries

Mettez TOUJOURS correctement les piles/batteries au rebut dans un centre de recyclage

de piles/batteries. Sinon, vous risquez de commettre un crime et cela risque de dégager

des substances toxiques dangereuses. Pelican a établi un partenariat avec Call 2 Recycle

aux États-Unis et au Canada pour mettre au rebut les piles/batteries recyclables. Appelez

le 1-800-822-8837 pour connaître le centre de recyclage de piles/batteries le plus proche

de chez vous.

* Déchargement important : la quasi-totalité de la capacité de la pile a été déchargée à

un point entraînant des dommages irréparables. Pour connaître les niveaux spéciques,

reportez-vous aux spécications de la pile.

* Conditionnement d’une pile : chargez entièrement votre pile, puis débranchez-la du

chargeur. Laissez votre torche fonctionner jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’éteigne après l’épuisement

complet de la pile. Placez de nouveau la torche sur son chargeur et rechargez entièrement

la pile avant de l’utiliser. Ce « conditionnement » ou ce « cyclage » de la pile lui permettra

de conserver une charge plus complète pendant plus longtemps.
