守りください。

主な特長
•本機は、レンズ光源に高輝度白色
LEDを使用したビデオライトです。
•白色LEDは約10000時間と寿命が長く、耐衝撃性や耐候性が優れているため、
メンテナンスの必要がほとんどありません。交換の必要がなく半永久的に使用
できます。
•バッテリーアダプターコードを使用することにより、本機をビデオカメラに取
り付けた際、ビデオカメラの重さや腕への負担も軽減されます。
取り扱い上のご注意
•本機は、防じん、防滴、防水仕様ではありません。
•本機は精密機械です。落としたり、たたいたり、強い衝撃をあたえないでくださ
い。
•バッテリーはソニー製インフォリチウムバッテリーNP-F970/F960/F770/
F750/F730をご使用ください。
NP-F970/F770を推奨します。
•ソニー製インフォリチウムバッテリーNP-F570/F550/F530/F330は使用で
きません。
•本機をインテリジェントアクセサリーシュー搭載のビデオカメラに取り付けな
いでください。アクセサリーシューが破損することがあります。
•本機は0℃〜40℃内の環境で使用してください。
•放熱孔をふさがないでください。内部の温度が上がり、火災や事故、故障の原因
となります。
•点灯中は白色LEDを直接見ないようにしてください。目を傷めるおそれがあり
ます。
•落下防止のため、ビデオカメラに取り付けたまま本機を持って持ち運ばないで
ください。
•アルコールやベンジンなどの揮発性、引火性の高い薬品を近づけたり、本機の
近くに置かないでください。発火・発煙のおそれがあります。
•内部に液体をこぼしたり、燃えやすいものや金属類を落とさないでください。
そのまま使用すると、火災や火事、故障の原因となります。
•使用中、保管中にかかわらず次のような場所には置かないでください。故障や
変形の原因となります。
–炎天下や、夏場の窓を閉めきった自動車内のように異常に高温になる場所
–直射日光の近く、熱器具の近く
–激しい振動のある場所
•寒いところや周囲が高温の場合、電池を使用できる時間が短くなるため連続照
射時間が短くなります。電池の機能が低下するためです。より長い時間ご使用
いただくために、寒いところ（10℃以下）で使用するときは次のことをおすすめ
します。
–電池をポケットなどに入れてあたたかくしておき、撮影の直前にビデオライ
トに取り付ける。カイロをお使いになる場合は、直接電池に触れないように
ご注意ください。
–充電は室温（10℃〜30℃）でおこなう。
•使い終わったらPOWERスイッチを必ず「OFF」にしてください。
•使用しないときや使い終わったときは、必ずバッテリーを取りはずしてくださ
い。
•使用後すぐにかばんなどに本機を収納しないでください。発熱で白色
LEDが破
損することがあります。電源が「OFF」になっていること、本機が充分に冷えて
いることを確認してからかばんなどに収納してください。
•集光レンズに太陽光等を当てたままにしないでください。集光レンズを閉じた
まま直射日光に当てると故障の原因となり、集光レンズを開いた状態で直射日
光に当てると、レンズの焦点付近で発火のおそれがあります。
•本機をビデオカメラ本体に装着した状態で撮影すると、記録される音声に若干
の影響を与えることがあります。

下記の注意事項を守らないと、 によ火災・感電

•火の中に入れないでください。ショートさせたり、分解、加熱し
ないでください。
•指定された種類のバッテリーを使用してください。
•バッテリー交換の場合は電源を切り、数分待ってから取り出し
てください。バッテリーによっては、発熱する場合があります。
取り出す際はご注意ください。
•金属に触れ、3、#がショートすると発熱、発火する危険があり
ます。
•3 #と の向きを正しく入れてください。
•バッテリーを使い切ったとき、長期間使用しないときは、取り出
しておいてください。
•本機のバッテリー取り付け部は時々乾いた布などで汚れを拭き
取ってください。
電極やバッテリー端子部に皮脂などの汚れがあると、動作時間
が極端に短くなることがあります。
もしバッテリーの液が漏れたときは、本機のバッテリー取り付け部内の漏れた液
をよくふきとってから、新しいバッテリーを入れてください。万一、液が身体や
衣服についたときは、水でよく洗い流してください。
リチウムイオン電池
リチウムイオン電池は、リサイクルできます。不要に
なったリチウムイオン電池は、金属部にセロハンテー
プなどの絶縁物を貼って電池リサイクル協力店へお持
ちください。
集光レンズに太陽光等を当てた
まま放置しない
焦点距離で発煙発火のおそれが
あり、火災の原因となります。
集光レンズを通して直接太陽を

ご注意
•バッテリーアダプターコードは、本機専用です。
•バッテリーアダプターコードにバッテリーを取り付けて使用すると、ビデオ
ライトに直接取り付けたときより、連続照射時間が短くなります（約
10％低
下）。
•バッテリーアダプターコードのバッテリー取り付け部を固定バンド等で固定
したまま移動等する時、コードが引っ張られカメラや三脚を倒さないようご
注意ください。

RELEASE側にゆるめてねじを引っ込める
2本機をビデオカメラのアクセサリーシューに差し込む
3固定ツマミをLOCKの方向に締め、本機を固定する
（本機をインテリジェントアクセサリーシュー搭載のビデオカメラに取り付け
ないでください。アクセサリーシューが破損することがあります。）
凹ねじへ取り付ける
1本機の固定ツマミをLOCK
側にまわし、ねじを少し出す
2本機のねじ部を凹ねじへ合わせる
3固定ツマミをLOCKの方向に締め、本機を固定する
三脚やグリップの凸ねじに取り付ける
1本機の固定ツマミをRELEASE
側に回らなくなるまでゆるめてねじを引っ込める
2本機を凸ねじに挿入し本体をねじ込む

1コインを使って照射角度調整ネジを緩め、本機の角度を調節する
2コインを使って照射角度調整ネジを回し、十分締め付けて固定する
ご注意
角度を調整するときは、ビデオライト本体をしっかりと持って照射角度調節ネジ
をゆるめてください。
保護板、集光レンズ、ディフューザーを開く
ご注意
イラスト のように約A45度の位置まで開いてください。
45度以上は破損防止の緩
衝領域です。
45度以上無理な力で開くと破損するおそれがありますのでご注意く
ださい。
本機を点灯させる
1緑色のボタンを押しながらスイッチをスライドさせ、
POWERスイッチを「ON」
に合わせる
2バッテリー残量ランプが順番に点灯し残量をチェックし計算します
3「ON」にしてから約 1.5
秒後に白色LEDが点灯します
4「ON」にしてから約8
秒後に残量を表示します
照度を調整する
照度はBRIGHTダイヤルで、100%
（MAX)〜約10％（MIN）まで調節できます。
集光レンズを使用する
集光レンズを使用すると照度が約2倍に上がります。
照射角度は狭くなります。
ディフューザーを使用する
ディフューザーを使用するとまぶしさが低減され、光がやわらかくなります。
ご注意
•本機を使って撮影する際、被写体とビデオカメラの距離が近すぎると、被写体
の影が何重にも重なることがあります（マルチシャドー）。
•色温度は、
BRIGHT ダイヤルの位置や、白色LED
の温度で若干変化するので、
撮影前に必ずマニュアルでビデオカメラのホワイトバランスを調整してくださ
い。
•本機を収納する際は、集光レンズ、ディフューザー、保護板の順に収納してくだ
さい。
バッテリーの残量を確認する
POWERスイッチがOFFの状態でも、バッテリーの残量を確認することができま
す。
1バッテリーを装着する
2POWERスイッチはOFFの位置のままチェックボタンを押す
3バッテリー残量ランプが順番に点灯し残量をチェックし計算します
4約8秒後、残量を表示します
5約10秒後バッテリー残量ランプは消灯します
残量計算中又は表示中にチェックボタンを押すと計算及び表示は終了します。
残量計算中又は表示中にPOWER スイッチをONにすると POWER ONの動
作に移ります。（再度チェックします。）

バッテリーのおおよその残量を表示します。
POWERスイッチをON又はバッテ
リー残量チェックボタンを押してから約８秒後に残量表示が確定します。

•電池の残量が残り少なくなったとき（ 点滅時）
電池がなくなる約5分前から、バッテリー残量ランプが緑色で遅い点滅をしま
す（1灯）。バッテリーの使用頻度、使用環境温度によって表示開始時間は異なり
ます。表示開始時間は目安ですので、早めのバッテリー交換をおすすめします。
•電池の残量がなくなったとき
電池の残量がなくなると、ライトが消えてバッテリー表示ランプが緑色で約
10
秒間早い点滅をします（
1灯）。
POWER スイッチをOFFにしてバッテリーを充
電する、もしくは充分充電されたバッテリーに交換してください。
•通信エラー
（4灯点滅）バッテリー残量チェック終了後約
10秒間
何らかの原因で電池との通信中にエラーが生じたとき、またはソニー製イン
フォリチウムバッテリーLシリーズ以外の電池が挿入されたときに通信エラー
として約
10秒間4つの
LED が点滅後、残量表示が消えます。
ご注意
•ソニー製インフォリチウムバッテリー
Lシリーズ（
NP−F900番台、
NP−
F700
番台）以外のバッテリーを本機に取り付けた場合はバッテリー残量は表示
されません。
•寿命の短くなったバッテリーを使用した場合、バッテリー残量表示が実際の残
量と合わなくなることがあります。
•本機で使用したインフォリチウムバッテリーを、インフォリチウム対応
AC
アダプター／チャージャーに取り付けたとき、使用可能時間は表示されません。
使用可能時間を表示するにはお手持ちのビデオカメラにバッテリーを取り付
け、
20秒程度使用してから、
ACアダプター／チャージャーに再度取り付けて
ください。
•本機でバッテリー充電はできません。
TEMP
ランプ
白色LEDの温度が何らかの理由で熱くなりすぎたとき、安全のためライトが消灯
し、
TEMPランプが赤色で約60秒間早い点滅をします。使用環境温度が高い場合
は環境温度の低い場所でお使いください。
それでも尚、
TEMPランプが点滅する場合はただちにご使用をやめ、ご購入いた
だいた特約店、又はソニー業務用商品に関するお問い合わせ窓口にご相談くださ
い。
ビデオライトをはずす

凸ネジに取り付けたときは、凸ネジ側をゆるめる。
4本機をビデオカメラのアクセサリーシュー、または三脚などからはずす
ビデオライトのお手入れ
時々、柔らかい布でから拭きしてください。汚れがひどいときは、中性洗剤溶液
を少しふくませた布で拭いてから、もう一度から拭きしてください。シンナー、
ベンジン、アルコールなどは表面の仕上げをいためますので使わないでくださ
い。

This product is intended for use in the following Electromagnetic

Features
• The HVL-LBP is a video light that uses a high-brightness white LED as its lens
light source.
• The white LED has a long lifetime of about 10,000 hours along with excellent
impact-resistance and weather-resistance qualities, and so requires hardly any
maintenance. It is built to last and does need to be replaced.
• By using the battery adaptor cord when the video light is attached to your
camcorder, the weight of the camcorder is reduced and so is lighter to hold.
Precautions
• The video light does not have dust-proof, splash-proof or water-proof
specifications.
• The video light is a precision instrument. Do not cause strong impacts to the
video light such as by dropping it or striking it.
• Use the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack NP-F970/F960/F770/F750/F730. The
NP-F970/F770 is recommended.
• The “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack NP-F570/F550/F530/F330 cannot be used.
• Do not attach the video light to a camcorder equipped with an intelligent
accessory shoe. The accessory shoe may be damaged.
• Only use the video light within an ambient temperature range of 0 °C (35 °F) to
40 °C (104 °F).
• Do not block the vents. Doing so will raise the internal temperature, and it may
cause a fire or accident, or cause the unit to malfunction.
• Do not look directly at the white LED while it is on. It may damage your eyes.
• To prevent the camcorder from dropping, do not carry your camcorder by the
video light when it is attached.
• Do not place the video light near combustible or volatile solvents, such as
alcohol or benzine. Doing so may cause fire or smoke to be emitted.
• Do not allow any liquids into the video light or drop combustible objects or
metal objects on the video light. Doing so may cause a fire or cause the unit to
malfunction if used.
• During use or storage, do not place the video light in the following locations.
Doing so may cause the video light to malfunction or deform:
– Hot weather or abnormally hot locations such as inside a car with closed
windows
– Direct sunlight or near heating apparatus
– Locations subject to intense vibrations
• The battery pack life is shorter when used at low or high ambient temperatures,
so the lighting time is also reduced. The battery capacity deteriorates. When
using the battery packs at the temperature of 10 °C (50 °F) or less, the following
steps are recommended for longer battery life:
– To warm the battery pack, put it in your pocket. (Do not put the battery pack
together with a pocket heat pad.) Just before recording, insert the battery pack
into the video light.
– Charge the battery pack at room temperature (from 10 °C (50 °F) to 30 °C (86
°F)).
• When you have finished using the video light, be sure that the POWER switch
on the video light is set to OFF.
• When not using the video light or when you have finished using it, remove the
battery pack.
• Do not store away the video light immediately after using it. The white LED
may be damaged by the generated heat. Check that the power of the video light
is set to OFF and the video light has cooled sufficiently before storing it in your
bag, etc.
• Leaving the condenser lens in direct sunlight while closed could cause a
malfunction. Leaving the condenser lens in direct sunlight while open could
cause fire near the focal point of the lens.
• Recording with the video light attached to the video camera body can slightly
affect the recorded sound.

Check that the POWER switch is set to OFF and attach the fully charged
battery pack to the battery mount on the video light.
Using the battery adaptor cord (Illustration C)
The battery adaptor cord allows you to use the video light with the battery pack
detached.
1 Attach the battery adaptor cord (Illustration C-1) to the battery mount
on the video light.
2 Attach the battery pack to the battery mount on the adaptor
(Illustration -2).C
Notes
• The battery adaptor cord can only be used with this video light.
• When using the video light with the battery pack attached to the battery
adaptor cord, the continuous lighting time will be about 10 % shorter than if
the battery pack was attached directly to the video light.
• If the battery mount part of the battery adaptor cord is fixed with a holding
band etc., be careful when moving the unit not to pull the cord and knock
down the camcorder or tripod.

Attaching the video light to the accessory shoe
1 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward RELEASE in
order to retract the screw.
2 Attach the video light to the accessory shoe on the camcorder.
3 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward LOCK to
fasten the video light.
(Do not attach the video light to a video camera that has an intelligent accessory
shoe. The accessory shoe may be damaged.)
Attaching the video light to the concave screw
1 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward LOCK to
extend the screw.
2 Align the screw part of the video light with the concave screw.
3 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward LOCK to
fasten the video light.
Attaching the video light to the convex screw on the tripod or grip
1 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward RELEASE as
far as it will go, in order to retract the screw.
2 Insert the video light into the convex screw, and screw the video light.
Adjusting the angle of the video light (Illustration E)
1 Unfasten the lighting angle adjusting screw with a coin and adjust the
angle of the video light.
2 Fasten the lighting angle adjusting screw with a coin and lock firmly to
fix the angle of the video light.
Note
When adjusting the angle, hold the video light body firmly while loosening the
lighting angle adjusting screw.

The time before the batteries run out varies depending on the frequency of use
of the batteries and the ambient temperature. This indicator should only be
used as a rough guide, and it is recommended that the batteries be replaced
promptly.
• When the battery pack runs out
When the battery pack runs out, the video light goes out and the remaining
battery lamp turns green and blinks rapidly for about 10 seconds (1 segment).
Set the POWER switch to OFF and recharge the battery pack or replace it with
a fully charged battery pack.
• Communication error
(4 segments flash) For about 10 seconds after the remaining battery check
is complete
If an error occurs for some reason during communication with the battery pack
or if batteries other than the Sony “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack L series are
inserted, 4 segments flash for 10 seconds to indicate a communication error and
then the remaining battery display disappears.
Notes
• When using batteries other than the Sony “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack L series
(NP-F900 range, NP-F700 range) with the video light, the remaining battery
capacity will not be displayed.
• When using a battery pack that only has a short lifetime remaining, the
remaining battery display may not agree with the actual remaining battery
capacity.
• When using a “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack attached to the “InfoLITHIUM”
compatible AC adaptor/charger, the available operating time will not be
displayed. To display the operating time, attach the battery pack to the
camcorder and then use for about 20 seconds before attaching the battery pack
to the AC adaptor/charger again.
• The battery pack cannot be recharged with the video light.
TEMP lamp
When the white LED overheats for some reason, the video light will be turned off
for safety reasons, and the TEMP lamp turns red and blinks rapidly for about 60
seconds. If the ambient temperature is high, use the video light at a lower
temperature.
If the TEMP lamp continues to blink, stop using the video light and consult your
Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.
Removing the video light
1 Set the POWER switch to OFF.
2 Slide the battery release button and at the same time pull the battery
pack upward.
3 Turn the light attachment knob on the video light toward RELEASE.
If the video light is attached to a convex screw, loosen the convex screw.
4 Remove the video light from the accessory shoe of the camcorder,
tripod etc.
Cleaning
Clean the video light with a soft dry cloth. If you clean it with a soft cloth lightly
moistened with a mild detergent solution, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after
cleaning. Do not use a damp cloth or any type of solvent, such as alcohol or
benzine, which might damage the finish.

Caractéristiques
• HVL-LBP est une torche vidéo qui utilise une LED blanche à haute luminosité
comme source lumineuse de l’objectif.
• La LED blanche a une durée de vie d’environ 10 000 heures ; extrêmement
résistante aux chocs et aux conditions météorologiques, elle ne nécessite que
très peu d’entretien. Conçue pour durer, elle n’a pas besoin d’être remplacée.
• L’utilisation du câble de l’adaptateur de la batterie lorsque la torche vidéo est
fixée à votre caméscope rend votre caméscope plus léger.
Précautions
• Cette torche vidéo ne dispose pas de spécifications concernant l’étanchéité à la
poussière, aux éclaboussures et à l’eau.
• Cette torche vidéo est un instrument de précision. Veillez à ne pas la soumettre
à des chocs violents ou à la faire tomber.
• Utilisez les modèles de batterie « InfoLITHIUM » suivants : NP-F970/F960/
F770/F750/F730. Il est recommandé d’utiliser le modèle NP-F970/F770.
• Vous ne pouvez pas utiliser les modèles de batterie « InfoLITHIUM » NP-F570/
F550/F530/F330.
• Ne fixez pas la torche vidéo à un caméscope équipé d’une griffe porte-
accessoires intelligente. Vous risqueriez d’endommager la griffe porte-
accessoires.
• N’utilisez la torche vidéo que sous des températures comprises entre 0 °C (35
°F) et 40 °C (104 °F).
• N’obstruez pas les conduits de ventilation. La température interne risquerait de
monter, ce qui pourrait provoquer un accident ou un incendie ou endommager
l’appareil.
• Ne regardez pas directement la LED blanche lorsque celle-ci est activée. Des
lésions oculaires pourraient se produire.
• Pour éviter que le caméscope ne tombe, ne le transportez pas par la torche
vidéo lorsque celle-ci est fixée.
• Ne placez pas la torche vidéo à proximité de solvants combustibles ou volatils
(alcool, benzène, etc.). De la fumée pourrait de produire et cela risquerait de
provoquer un incendie.
• Veillez à ce qu’aucun liquide ou objet combustible ou métallique ne pénètre à
l’intérieur la torche vidéo. Cela risquerait de provoquer un incendie ou
d’endommager l’appareil.
• Évitez d’utiliser et de placer la torche vidéo dans les endroits suivants. Vous
risqueriez d’endommager la torche vidéo ou de la déformer :
– Endroits anormalement chauds, notamment à l’intérieur d’un véhicule fermé
en plein été. De même, évitez d’utiliser la torche vidéo sous des
températures extrêmes
– Sous la lumière directe du soleil ou à proximité de sources de chaleur
– Endroits soumis à de fortes vibrations
• La durée de vie de la batterie, ainsi que la durée d’éclairage, sont
considérablement réduites lorsque vous utilisez cet appareil sous des
températures extrêmes. La capacité de la batterie pourrait se détériorer. Lorsque
vous utilisez la batterie à une température de 10 °C (50 °F) ou moins, nous vous
recommandons de suivre les instructions suivantes afin de prolonger sa durée
de vie :
– Pour chauffer la batterie, placez-la dans votre poche. (Cependant, ne placez
pas la batterie avec une poche chauffante.) Juste avant l’enregistrement,
insérez la batterie dans la torche vidéo.
– Chargez la batterie lorsque la température ambiante est comprise (entre 10
°C (50 °F) et 30 °C (86 °F)).
• Une fois que vous avez terminé d’utiliser la torche vidéo, assurez-vous que
l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) de la torche vidéo est positionné sur OFF.
• Si vous n’utilisez pas la torche vidéo ou une fois l’enregistrement terminé,
retirez la batterie.
• Ne rangez pas la torche vidéo immédiatement après l’avoir utilisée. La chaleur
générée pourrait endommager la LED blanche. Vérifiez que la torche vidéo est
hors tension (positionnée sur OFF) et qu’elle a refroidit avant de la ranger.
• Si vous laissez la lentille condenseur exposée à la lumière directe du soleil alors
qu'elle est fermée, un dysfonctionnement pourrait se produire. Si vous laissez la
lentille condenseur à la lumière directe du soleil alors qu'elle est ouverte, un
incendie pourrait se produire au niveau du foyer de la lentille.
• Si vous enregistrez alors que la torche vidéo est fixée au caméscope, il est
possible que le son enregistré soit légèrement déformé.
Utilisation de la torche vidéo

Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) est positionné sur
OFF, puis fixez la batterie chargée sur le support de batterie.
Utilisation du câble de l’adaptateur de la batterie (Illustration C)
Le câble de l’adaptateur de la batterie vous permet d’utiliser la torche vidéo sans
avoir besoin de fixer la batterie.
1 Fixez le câble de l’adaptateur de la batterie (Illustration C-1) au
support de batterie situé sur la torche vidéo.
2 Fixez la batterie sur le support de batterie de l’adaptateur (Illustration
C-2).
Remarques
• Le câble de l’adaptateur de la batterie ne peut être utilisé qu’avec cette
torche vidéo.
• Si vous utilisez la torche vidéo avec la batterie fixée au câble de
l’adaptateur, la durée d’éclairage continu sera réduite d’environ 10 %.
• Si le support de batterie du câble de l’adaptateur est fixé à l’aide d’une
ceinture de maintien, veillez à ne pas tirer sur le câble lorsque vous
déplacez l’appareil, car le caméscope ou le trépied pourrait tomber.

1 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche sur la position RELEASE
(Déverrouillage) afin de pouvoir dévisser la vis.
2 Fixez la torche vidéo à la griffe porte-accessoires du caméscope.
3 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche sur la position LOCK
(Verrouillage) pour verrouiller la torche vidéo.
(Ne fixez pas la torche vidéo à un caméscope équipé d’une griffe porte-
accessoires intelligente. Vous risqueriez d’endommager la griffe porte-
accessoires.)
Fixation de la torche vidéo à la vis concave
1 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche sur la position LOCK
(Verrouillage) pour bloquer la vis.
2 Alignez la vis de la torche vidéo avec la vis concave.
3 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche sur la position LOCK
(Verrouillage) pour verrouiller la torche vidéo.
Fixation de la torche vidéo à la vis convexe du trépied ou de la
poignée
1 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche sur la position RELEASE
(Déverrouillage) autant que possible afin de pouvoir dévisser la vis.
2 Insérez la torche vidéo dans la vis convexe, puis vissez-la.
Réglage de l’angle de la torche vidéo (Illustration

1 Dévissez la vis de réglage de l’angle d’éclairage à l’aide d’une pièce de
monnaie, puis réglez l’angle de la torche vidéo.
2 Vissez la vis de réglage de l’angle d’éclairage à l’aide d’une pièce de
monnaie, puis serrez afin de bloquer l’angle de la torche vidéo.
Remarque
Lors du réglage de l’angle, tenez la torche vidéo fermement tout en dévissant
légèrement la vis de réglage de l’angle d’éclairage.
Ouverture de la plaque de protection, de la lentille
condenseur et du diffuseur
Remarque
Ouvrez la plaque de protection, la lentille condenseur et le diffuseur à environ 45
degrés (voir Illustration ). Un angle de 45 degrés ou plus sert de butée etA
permet d'éviter tout dommage. Ne forcez pas sur l’appareil pour l'ouvrir à 45
degrés, car vous risqueriez de l'endommager.
Mise sous tension de la torche vidéo
1 Placez l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) sur la position ON tout en
appuyant sur le bouton vert.
2 Le témoin de la batterie restante s’allume progressivement, ce qui
signifie que la capacité restante de la batterie est vérifiée et calculée.
3 La LED blanche s'allume environ 1,5 seconde après avoir actionné
l'interrupteur POWER.
4 La capacité restante de la batterie s'affiche environ 8 secondes après
avoir actionné l'interrupteur POWER.
Réglage de la luminosité
La luminosité de la torche vidéo peut être réglée entre 100% (maximum) et 10%
(minimum) à l'aide de la molette BRIGHT (Réglage de la luminosité).
Utilisation de la lentille condenseur
La luminosité peut être doublée en utilisant la lentille condenseur.
L’angle d’éclairage devient plus étroit.
Utilisation du diffuseur
Le diffuseur permet de réduire l’effet d’éblouissement et adoucit la lumière.
Remarques
• Lorsque vous enregistrez avec la torche vidéo, si le sujet est trop près du
caméscope, plusieurs ombres du sujet risquent de se superposer (multi-
ombres).
• La température de couleur varie sensiblement selon la position de la molette
BRIGHT (Réglage de la luminosité) et la température de la LED blanche. Veillez
à toujours régler manuellement la balance des blancs du caméscope avant
l’enregistrement.
• Lorsque vous rangez la torche vidéo, rangez tout d’abord la lentille condenseur,
le diffuseur, puis la plaque de protection.
Vérification de la capacité restante de la batterie
Vous pouvez vérifier la capacité restante de la batterie même si l’interrupteur
POWER (Alimentation) est réglé sur OFF.
1 Fixez la batterie à la torche vidéo.
2 Réglez l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) sur OFF, puis appuyez sur
le bouton de vérification.
3 Le témoin de la batterie restante s’allume progressivement, ce qui
signifie que la capacité restante de la batterie est vérifiée et calculée.
4 Après environ 8 secondes, la capacité restante de la batterie s’affiche.
5 Après environ 10 secondes, le témoin de la batterie restante s’éteint.
Si vous appuyez sur le bouton de vérification de la batterie, le calcul et la
fonction d’affichage seront interrompus.
Si vous allumez l'interrupteur POWER alors que la capacité restante de la
batterie est en cours de calcul ou d'affichage, l’appareil se met sous tension.
(La capacité restante de la batterie est recalculée.)
Témoins
Témoin de batterie restante
Ce témoin affiche la capacité restante de la batterie. La capacité restante de la
batterie sera affichée pendant environ 8 secondes une fois l’interrupteur POWER
(Alimentation) réglé sur ON ou après avoir appuyé sur le bouton de vérification
de la batterie.
(4 segments allumés) Environ 75% ou plus
(3 segments allumés) Entre 50% et 75%
(2 segments allumés) Entre 25% et 50%
(1 segment allumé) Entre 5% et 25%
(1 segment clignotant) Environ 5% ou moins
• Lorsque la capacité de la batterie est faible ( lorsque le segment
clignote)
Environ 5 minutes avant que la batterie soit épuisée, le témoin de la batterie
restante passe au vert et commence à clignoter lentement (1 segment).
La durée avant l’épuisement de la batterie varie selon la fréquence d’utilisation
de la batterie ou selon la température ambiante. Ce témoin donne une capacité
restante approximative ; nous vous recommandons de remplacer la batterie le
plus rapidement possible dès que ce témoin s’allume.
• Une fois la batterie épuisée
Lorsque la batterie est épuisée, la torche vidéo s’éteint et le témoin de batterie
restante passe au vert, puis clignote rapidement pendant environ 10 secondes
(1 segment). Réglez l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) sur OFF, puis
rechargez la batterie ou remplacez-la par une batterie chargée.
• Erreur de communication
(4 segments clignotent) Pendant environ 10 secondes une fois la
vérification de la batterie restante terminée
Si une erreur se produit lors de la communication avec la batterie, ou si vous
insérez une batterie autre que la batterie Sony « InfoLITHIUM » de série L, 4
segments clignotent pendant environ 10 secondes pour signaler une erreur de
communication, puis l’écran de la batterie restante disparaît.
Remarques
• Si vous utilisez une batterie autre que la batterie Sony « InfoLITHIUM » se série
L (gammes NP-F900 et NP-F700) avec la torche vidéo, la capacité restante de la
batterie ne sera pas affichée.
• Si vous utilisez une batterie pratiquement épuisée, il est possible que l’écran de
la batterie restante de corresponde pas à la capacité restante réelle de la batterie.
• Si vous utilisez une batterie « InfoLITHIUM » fixée à l’adaptateur secteur/
chargeur compatible « InfoLITHIUM », la durée de fonctionnement disponible
ne sera pas affichée. Pour afficher la durée de fonctionnement, fixez la batterie
au caméscope, puis utilisez-la pendant environ 20 secondes avant de la fixer à
nouveau à l’adaptateur secteur/chargeur.
• La batterie ne peut pas être rechargée avec la torche vidéo.
Témoin TEMP (Température)
Lorsque la LED blanche surchauffe, la torche vidéo se met automatiquement hors
tension pour des raisons de sécurité ; le témoin de température passe au rouge et
clignote rapidement pendant environ 60 secondes. Si la température ambiante est
élevée, n’utilisez la torche vidéo que lorsque la température redescend.
Si le témoin TEMP (Température) continue de clignoter, cessez d’utiliser la torche
vidéo et consultez votre revendeur ou votre technicien Sony.
Retrait de la torche vidéo
1 Réglez l’interrupteur POWER (Alimentation) sur OFF.
2 Faites glisser le bouton de déverrouillage de la batterie tout en tirant
celle-ci vers le haut.
3 Placez la molette de fixation de la torche vidéo sur la position RELEASE
(Déverrouillage).
Si la torche vidéo est fixée à une vis convexe, dévissez la vis convexe.
4 Retirez la torche vidéo de la griffe porte-accessoires du caméscope, du
trépied, etc.
Nettoyage
Nettoyez la torche vidéo à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et sec. Si vous utilisez un
chiffon légèrement imbibé d’une solution détergente neutre, essuyez la torche
vidéo après nettoyage avec un chiffon sec. N’utilisez pas de chiffon humide ou de
solvant (alcool ou benzène, entre autres), car vous risqueriez d’endommager la
carcasse.

Note
Open the protection plate, condenser lens and diffuser about 45 degrees as in
Illustration A.
The angle of 45 degrees or more provides a buffer range to prevent damage. Note
that using force to open to 45 degrees may cause damage.
Turning the video light on
1 Slide the POWER switch to ON while pressing down on the green
button.
2 The remaining battery lamp lights up in steps as the remaining battery
capacity is checked and calculated.
3 The white LED comes on about 1.5 seconds after the POWER switch is
turned on.
4 The remaining battery capacity appears about 8 seconds after the
POWER switch is turned on.
Adjust the illuminance
The illuminance of the video light can be adjusted between 100% (max) and about
10% (min) using the BRIGHT dial.
Using the condenser lens
Illuminance can be doubled by using the condenser lens.
The angle of illuminance will become narrower.
Using the diffuser
The diffuser reduces glare and softens the light.
Notes
• When recording with the video light, if the subject is too close to the camcorder,
several shadows of the subject may overlap (multi-shadow).
• The color temperature varies slightly depending on the position of the BRIGHT
dial and the temperature of the white LED. Always adjust the white balance of
the video camera manually before recording.
• When storing the video light, store the condenser lens first, followed by the
diffuser and then the protection plate.
Checking the remaining battery capacity
The remaining battery capacity can be checked even if the POWER switch is set to
OFF.
1 Attach the battery pack to the video light.
2 With the POWER switch set to OFF, press the battery check button.
3 The remaining battery lamp lights up in steps as the remaining battery
capacity is checked and calculated.
4 About 8 seconds after, the remaining battery capacity will be displayed.
5 After about 10 seconds, the remaining battery lamp will turn off.
If you press the battery check button, the calculation or display function will be
stopped.
If you turn on the POWER switch while the remaining battery capacity is being
calculated or displayed, POWER ON operation begins. (Remaining battery
capacity is rechecked.)
Lamp indicators
Remaining battery lamp
This indicator shows the approximate remaining battery power. The remaining
battery power will be displayed about 8 seconds after setting the POWER switch
to ON or after pressing the battery check button.
(4 segments lit) About 75% or more (3 segments lit) About 50% - 75%
(2 segments lit) About 25% - 50% (1 segment lit) About 5% - 25%
(1 segment flashing) About 5% or less
• When the battery capacity is low ( when flashing)
About 5 minutes before the batteries run out, the remaining battery lamp turns
green and begins to slowly flash (1 segment).
